City Hall Child Care Society is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment. Our overall goal is to minimize risk as much as possible.
In addition to COVID 19 Guidelines & Protocols we have adapted our operations and protocols to reflect current recommendations from
BC Public Health, BC Centre for Disease Control, Worksafe BC and the BC Community Care and Assisted Living Act and Child Care Licensing Regulations and Vancouver Coastal Health

SUMMARY of UPDATES to the PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDLANCE FOR CHILD CARE SETTINGS
All Employees, children and visitors must assess their health for symptoms of illness for each day prior to entering City Hall Child Care.
Children, parents and employees must stay home when they have any symptoms of illness and call 811.
Current information, advocacy, personal and professional information regarding Early Childhood Education in British Columbia.
DAILY ROUTINE & GENERAL INFORMATION

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Parents or others dropping off or picking up children are asked to please wait outside the gate until a staff greets you and your child.

Wear a mask at all times when interacting with staff during pick up and drop off

Wear masks at all times including in the stairwell from the parkade and in the lineup outside the gates

Maintain minimum 6 feet when possible.

Consider an alternate route from the parkade eg. walking south on Cambie
All individuals entering CHCCS must remove outside footwear.

Clean shoes and Inside footwear to be be worn.

Hand sanitizers are provided at all entrances and throughout building
While inside the building all adults must wear a mask except

when there is a barrier in place

when eating or drinking or

when alone in a closed area and no other person is present
